To: The parents of all students who are in the Advanced Band, Chorus, Boys’ Barbershop, Girls’ Ensemble, and Recorder Consort
Dear Parents,
This year our annual Winter Concert will be on December 16th, at 6:30 PM. Our students have been working hard to prepare for this musical event. The first performance will be held at 9:30 AM for the teachers and students of K-6th grades. The second performance is for parents, family and friends at 6:30 PM. Students are required to perform in both concerts. Both performances will be held in the Primary Center Auditorium.
All students should dress appropriately for the concert. These young musicians have spent many hours preparing for the concert, and we’d like them to look their best for it. For the evening concert, please avoid sneakers, jeans, and T-shirts. Appropriate attire would be: slacks and a long-sleeved shirt for boys, and either skirt/slacks with a blouse, or a dress for girls. Since this is a school event, the district’s dress code will be followed. For the morning performance, normal school clothes will be fine. Also, NO Candy or Gum at either concert, please!
On Thursday, all performers should report to the Primary Center auditorium. All Advanced Band students at 7:50 AM, and all others by 8:15 AM, instead of going to the Elementary Center. We’ll take attendance and lunch count there at the P.C. in the morning. In the evening, all students should go to the P.C. Auditorium at 6:00 PM. It is important to be there at these times so that we can get set up, warmed up, and lined up. We will have seats reserved for the musicians at the back of the auditorium, where they will sit quietly when they’re not performing.
Parents: We need at least 3 parents to watch the concert with the students at the back of the auditorium. You won’t miss anything, we just need you to help remind them of proper audience behavior, and help them move to and from the stage efficiently. Also, if you get any good pictures and/or video of the concert, please let us know if you don’t mind sharing a copy.
Please contact Mr. Nevin if you can help! (610) 779-3547 or rnevin@antietamsd.org

Here are some .mp3 files for the singers in Chorus, Girls Ensemble, and Boys Barbershop. You can download them from these links, and then play them on your computer, put them on your .mp3 player, or burn them to a CD. Let me know if you need help. If you would like me to put the files onto a CD for you, just bring in a blank CD and I’ll be glad to do that. Not every piece of music that is being sung is listed in these files, but most of them are.
These links will take you to MediaFire, where I am storing the files. When you move your pointer next to the “share” button you will see a “download” button for each file.
